Protecting all equines from the cruelty of abuse, neglect or slaughter.
Horses are amazing animals with too few champions. Triple Me Mac Equine Sanctuary (501(c)3) was founded in 2009 with a single mission – to secure the safety of all equines from the cruelty of abuse, neglect or slaughter. We've rescued, or participated in the rescue of, more than 100 equines all over the U.S. and Canada, and we've played an active role in ending the slaughter business in the United States. We are part of a strong network of horse rescue organizations and maintain a commitment to be at the forefront of rescue operations as well as efforts to end the abuse of these magnificent animals.
Join us in fighting to save these beautiful creatures
Transportation, food, medical care and shelter for our rescued horses currently costs more than $3,000 a month. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to help us continue our efforts.

Learn more about equine abuse
Every year, thousands of horses and other equids are killed at slaughterhouses or through abuse and neglect. Triple Me Mac Equine Sanctuary is proud of our part in the successful closing of all U.S. slaughterhouses, but there is still much work to be done. Every day, thousands of American horses are standing on overcrowded feedlots and at border crossings waiting to meet their cruel fate. Other acts of abuse, including the unconscionable use of mares in the production of the drug Premarin, continue virtually unchecked. Understanding the facts about the abuse equids suffer is the key to successfully putting an end to it. Please explore the websites below under the category "Informational Links" to learn more about our fight.
Our organization is just one of many dedicated to ending equine abuse. Every day, horse lovers across the country work tirelessly to save these magnificent animals. Some of these fine organizations are listed to the right. We are proud to be associated with them, and we encourage you to support their efforts along with ours.
