The Comal County Sheriff's Department contacted us about four horses found in someone's front yard near Canyon Lake, TX.  The homeowner closed the gate so that the horses couldn't get out, and the deputy picked them up and took them to a holding facility. The four horses included a beautiful paint gelding, a young dark brown mare, and two miniature mares. With a lot of networking, we were able to find a home for the paint, another rescue took the brown mare, and the mini's are in foster care near TMMES. The best part of the story is one of the mini's is about to have a mini me!!!
